Marketing Communication Manager -with focus on talent and competence

Marketing Communications, is responsible for Scania´s global marketing communications. Our mission is to strengthen the Scania brand and support the overall business goals by developing marketing communication strategies, concepts, guidelines, activities and material in order to support sales and to build the brand both from a customer and a people perspective.

We are now looking for an experienced Marketing Communication Manager who will be responsible for developing marketing strategies to support the goals of attracting and retaining competitive competence both in the short- and long term.

We are in an intense development phase and the position as Marketing Communication Manager, within this discipline is a key position in this process.

Work tasks include to

  • work together with HR in branding and marketing communication matters
  • support the anchoring process and synchronisation of Marketing Communications work within different functions in the HR-field
  • lead and be the creative expert to support the different functions within the field of recruitment and branding of Scania as an employer
  • represent Marketing Communications and HR within the Scania organisation, such as Distributors and Dealers and also Customers and External suppliers
  • participate in the development of the marketing strategy process with other stakeholders within Sales and Marketing, Communications, Brand and Marketing and Commercial Operations organizations

 Your profile

Previous experience and knowledge of the Commercial Vehicle industry in general, and Scania in particular, is an advantage. Experience of Employer branding, recruitment or other HR related topics is also an advantage. Deep skills and experience within marketing communication, as well as working with marketing agencies is a requirement.

We are looking for a highly creative team player with analytical skills, excellent in communications and in building networks within and outside Scania, who takes ownership of assignments, and is target oriented.

You have a good understanding of Swedish and you are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered a merit.
